Books for the Visually Impaired

Our members can now enjoy the advantages of their Pontes membership! We are pleased to launch the virtual library, where you will find a great variety of books, made accessible for the visually impaired. Unfortunately, the law allows the access to such libraries only to the visually impaired; this is why our sighted members will not be able to benefit from this project; but we hope that, in the future, we will develop many programmes which both visually impaired and sighted members will enjoy.

Each member who will have access to this library will be given a username and a password and will have the possibility to download and upload books. In order to protect the copyright of the books uploaded, each member will have the right to download any book up to only three times and will not be allowed to share his account with anybody else. We want the number of books in the library to increase, this is why we invite all members who have books to upload them in the virtual library.
